Welcome to the 2nd Central European Congress of Surgery 2009
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the International Scientific Committee, the Local Organising Committee and all Polish surgeons, I would like to invite you to the 2nd Central European Congress of surgery and 3rd International Pancreatic Days to be held from 22 to 25 April 2009, in Katowice.
Katowice is a city located in southern Poland. It's the capital of Upper Silesia - conurbanation.
Our congress will be a continuation of all of the aims of the great 1st CECS Prague congress organized this year by Professor Miroslav Ryska. We would also like to combine 2nd CECS with 3rd International Pancreatic Days. We organised First International Pancratic Days in Katowice five years ago and this is now a great opportunity to put the congresses together in the same time and place. We believe that the pancreatic days will be an attractive part of our congress. It will bring a lot of knowledge especially for young doctors training in surgery.
The scientific programme will include state-of-the-art lectures, oral presentations, posters, multimedia sessions and satellite symposia. We have already invited international experts from many fields of interest who will share their knowledge and experience. A wide selection of sponsorship opportunities has been prepared for you.
